Materials

You can choose from a variety of materials for the garden bench range. Depending on the style, there is the option of Corten Steel, Aluminium and Powder Coated Steel. All materials are equally well suited to a long life outside and are of incredibly high-quality. This means your choice ultimately boils down to final appearance. The Corten Steel weathers to give a beautiful rusted orange, which can be secured with varnish. The Aluminium and Powder Coated Steel have a dual-layer coating, the outer-layer being scratch-resistant. Standard colours for the powder coat include RAL 7021 (Black-Grey), RAL 7035 (Light Grey) and RAL 9016 (Traffic White). You can also choose almost any other RAL colour, subject to start-up cost and lead time.

For the wooden bench slats, the standard is Garapa wood sourced from FSC approved forests in Brazil. You’ll see this gorgeous wood has a light beige colour to begin with, deepening to a light-brown over time. Alternatively, you can request the stylish Bamboo Extreme. Heat-treated with a patented technology, this CO2 neutral wood meets the highest durability class set by EU regulators. Appearing as a wonderfully modern light grey, you can pick this wood to add an extra contemporary touch.

Sustainability

As with all products and processes in today’s world, you should be considering the environmental impact. Sustainability is an incredibly important consideration. Given the fact that the Corten Steel and aluminium are both 100 % recyclable and both wood choices are from sustainable forests, you get the assurance that you are making a planet-conscious choice.
