Dunc Benches by Furns
Our minimalistic and contemporary Dunc Benches by Furns are perfect for any modern landscape design. You can choose from Corten or Powder Coated Steel dependent on the look you are after. You have a glorious rusted orange with Corten Steel, which can be secured with varnish. Alternatively, Powder Coated Steel gives a range of colour choices. With a two-layer coat you can have almost any RAL colour. Standard colours include Black-Grey (RAL 7021), Light-Grey (RAL 7035) and Traffic White (RAL 9016). If this doesn’t suit, other RAL colours are subject to start-up cost and lead time. The wooden slats are made from Garapa, sourced from FSC approved forests in Brazil. Therefore if sustainability is a concern, this is a good choice. You can also choose to have concrete foundation feet. Bespoke options are available, please contact us for details. Technical drawings available on request.
Corten Steel or Powder Coated Steel?
Your choice here will boil down to appearance. Both metals are 10 mm thick and high-quality. Indeed, you have virtually identical properties in strength, weather-resistance and durability. Corten Steel will give you that un-matched rusted orange. You can secure the rusted layer with varnish. Alternatively, if you want any other colour, Powder Coated Steel is the answer. Your standard choices are Black-Grey (RAL 7021), Light-Grey (RAL 7035) and Traffic White (RAL 9016). Almost all other RAL colours are available subject to start-up cost and lead time.
