The Bell Jar is one of the most uniquely designed garden planters. Unlike some of the other planters in our range, it is unlikely to blend seamlessly into the background, rather it is intended as a planter that can stand out. That’s not to say that it is unable to fit harmoniously in a garden design, in fact, if you have a lot of greenery or foliage in your garden – the beaten copper finish will fit particularly well.
Ideally though, you want to use this planter to draw interest from the surrounding area. It is made in four different, non-uniform sizes – so you could quite plausibly use the four as a set to create a theme. We offer this planter in three finishes: beaten copper, rust and antique faux lead. Each of these three finishes will have a profoundly different effect, depending on the setting it finds itself in.
The tallest of this items is almost a metre in height, with the smallest being just over half a metre. This is a considerable size, meaning that these planters are likely to be noticed when place inside your home, garden or outdoor space.
Fibreglass is an extremely effective alternative to many traditional materials like stone, metal or wood – and while it might not adequately be used as a substitute in some circumstances, it is absolutely ideal for garden furniture and installations like plant pots. As these are made of lightweight fibreglass, they will be easy to place and reposition (when compared to the heavy metals they are intended to imitate). Further to this they are frost, UV and weather resistant
