Description
Steel Patina Cube Planters
Steel patina cube planters are durable, aesthetically pleasing, and suit a wide range of plants. They can be used as a more cost-friendly alternative to corten steel. Steel patina cube planters still develop a naturally weathered patina on the outside but are not as bright as corten steel. Due their lower copper content they instead come up as a darker orange colour. They are made from hot rolled mild steel of 2mm thick, which develops strong, durable planters. These planters are eco-friendly as they are made from 100% recycled steel.

What is mild steel?
Mild steel is an alternative material to corten steel. It naturally weathers and forms a rusty patina on the outside, this creates a deep orange colour. It has a low carbon content, this means it is easier to shape and weld.
How will your mild steel weather?
Steel Patina Cube Planters weather over a period of 6-12 months. Please be aware during this period, there may be run off from rainwater. Therefore, if your planter is sat on surfaces like stones or concrete it may stain.
After your planters arrive, please unpack immediately to prevent any irregular staining.
