Steel Patina Cylinder Planters are ideal for use in a space that requires a softer feel. Steel Patina is a cheaper alternative to corten steel, which develops a similar deep orange patina like corten steel but with a lower copper content. What is mild steel?

Mild steel is an alternative material to corten steel. It naturally weathers and forms a rusty patina on the outside, this creates a deep orange colour. It has a low carbon content, this means it is easier to shape and weld.

How will your mild steel weather?

Steel Patina Cylinder Planters weather over a period of 6-12 months. Please be aware during this period, there may be run off from rainwater. Therefore, if your planter is sat on surfaces like stones or concrete it may stain.

After your planters arrive, please unpack immediately to prevent any irregular staining.
